Nach einer Nacht voller Regen (und einem vergessenen offenen „Fenster“ im Dachzelt, zum Glück war nur 1/3 meiner Matratze nass und ich konnte schlafen) jetzt wieder von oben trocken.
Gestern lief es super für uns! Wir waren bis zur ersten Pause mit einem gerittenen und einem gefahrenen Islandwallach unterwegs, danach nur noch mit dem gerittenen. Die Strecke war schön flüßig zu gehen und die Ponys hatten richtig Lust zu laufen!
Heute wird der letzte Tag im bergigen, danach kommt Flachland. Ich weiß noch nicht wie es uns da gehen wird…. Aber ich freue mich so sehr wie wach und unternehmungslustig mein Pony schon wieder schaut.

Start day 16
After a night full of rain (and a forgotten open “window” in the roof tent, luckily only 1/3 of my mattress was wet and I could sleep) now dry again from above.
Yesterday went really well for us! We were on the road with a ridden and a driven Icelandic gelding until the first break, then only with the ridden one. The route was nice and flowing and the ponies really wanted to run!
Today will be the last day in the mountains, after that it’s flat country. I don’t yet know how we’ll fare there…. But I’m so pleased with how alert and adventurous my pony looks again.
